Room to rent in Lewes

I'm looking to rent out a newly refurbished room in this beautiful house in Lewes. I'm looking for someone to take occupancy anytime from the end of March.

The ideal person would be a student (post-graduate masters or doctorate) or a professional, a woman between 25-40, quiet and tidy, a non-smoker who enjoys the countryside.

This room has also been advertised on Sussex Uni's site. This means that someone from the university has come to my home, met me, checked on the room and is happy for it to be offered to students. The house has a current gas certificate and I have a DBS check certificate too. So all's well in order!

The house is situated in a quiet part of Lewes and is very peaceful. If you’re a nature-lover you’ll especially appreciate this space. It's a beautiful walk to Lewes station (20 or so minutes) and one stop away from Falmer. An 8-minute walk will take you to a bus station and from there directly to Falmer on the Brighton route.

I live in the house on my own and my partner, an Osteopath, lives in Zurich, Switzerland. He visits over weekends once or twice a month and I visit him frequently too.

I work as a mindfulness consultant, teacher, coach and supervisor and my office is based at home. Most of my corporate clients are in London and I also work on skype with individuals. I love my work. I have an academic background and hold a master of science degree.

I am calm (this comes from many years of mindfulness practice) and pretty easy to live with. I’m a quiet person and also love being with people. I’m into organic foods, mostly vegetarian, love gardening, cycling, scooting, walking, reading, 5 rhythms dancing and music. My home is spacious, welcoming, uncluttered and tidy. I am into minimalist living. I also live as eco-friendly as possible so my household products are mostly green, I recycle and make conscious ethical choices about what I eat.
