Double bed in modern house share

Hello! I am moving out in December and am looking for someone to replace me in my lovely & cozy house share.

THE ROOM
The room is a double bed with a North facing window. There is plenty of storage space with an under-bed compartment, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. The desk in the photo will be moved so there is space to bring your own furniture if you want to.

THE HOUSE
It’s a refurbished two floor maisonette with a modern kitchen and bathroom and lovely big windows that get a lot of light in during the day.

We have a nice living room with a desk for you to use if you’re a remote worker, and a sofa and large TV.

There is no garden, but Preston Park is a 2 minute walk away and lots more parks (Blakers, Withdean, Hollingbury Golf Course) within a 20 min radius.

Plenty of corner shops nearby, and a local Sainsbury’s down the road & Coop fiveways up the road, both about a 10 minute walk.

There is the 5B that is outside our house that goes to the city centre and up towards Hollingbury ASDA (and Sussex Uni). If you prefer to walk I’d say it’s about a 20 min walk to London Road shops, and 30 min to town.

We are 15 min walk away from Preston Park station so there’s easy access to London or Hove. London Road station is also nearby if you are heading towards the uni/Lewes.

THE HOUSEMATES
You will be sharing the house with two working professional, Sam and Maria. Both are incredibly friendly and easy to talk to.

Sam is from the UK and works as a carer. He enjoys being outdoors in nature, meditation, and yoga.

Maria is from Norway and works from home full-time. She loves reality TV, good food, and being cozy at home.

We’re all good at respecting each other’s space and cleaning up after ourselves, and once in a while have a meal/drink together or board games night.

OTHER INFO
Bills are not included in the rent, but roughly it comes up to £620 per month with bills included though it can be slightly more during the winter months.

It’s managed by a private landlord and he’s great at responding to any issues or questions.
