Room to Rent (incl. all bills)

We have a lovely (freshly decorated) double room (available from 22 October) to rent in our bungalow in Saltdean. The room comes fully furnished with drawers and a desk with lots of hanging space behind the door (there isn’t a wardrobe but having had two girls live here previously with LOTS of clothes - there has never been too much of a problem with space).

Saltdean itself is a lovely area, with a great combination of being on the suburbs of a city, on the edge of the South Downs, and on the seafront too! We are only 20 seconds away from the bus stop which has regular links to central Brighton (takes about 20 mins and takes you straight to the station for links to London). Free on street parking too which is nifty (with no worries about not find a space too!). There is also a nice country walk (or a seaside walk too) to Rottingdean which has some lovely pubs!

We have two lovely kitties, who are very friendly (although George can sometimes be a little moody), and an 18 month old Labrador who is very loving and playful.

We are a married couple, looking for someone to share our home with. We are really easy going, spend a lot of time at home doing home improvements, chilling or out walking the dog.

We are very friendly and homely and we are looking for someone who will make themselves part of our home for the time they are with us, although we do respect the need to space and obviously will require some of our own too.

I do a yummy Sunday roast (almost) weekly and you would be welcome to join us for that :) otherwise we have a lovely kitchen with lots of kitchen gadgets free for you to use.

In the week we mostly chill, nothing to crazy, perhaps a glass of wine, some dinner or something. Sam plays football most weeks, and I spend a lot of time out exploring the South Downs (which is literally a two minute walk from our house).

At the weekends we are either at friends or we will be having a chilled one at home with some food, games or a movie. We aren’t really party people (that phase of our life has passed), although we do like a drink or two, but going “out out” is no longer our bag (we sometimes dip out toe in the water to see if we have changed our minds - and most often the answer is we haven’t - the hangovers hurt too much!).

We are good fun, friendly and bubbly and have a very loving home (although we aren’t in your face with our married-ness).

We have Virgin with most channels and good WiFi, we also have Netflix which we would happily share and NowTV and BT Sport.

We have a nice sized kitchen with a variety of appliances (including a bread maker). Holly loves cooking, whilst Sam loves eating! Food enthusiasts most welcome!

We are looking for someone fun and friendly, as well as considerate, clean and tidy. Preferably someone who works a 9-5 type job as Holly works from home.

Unfortunately we will not consider couples, although our property is a nice comfortable size for 3 people, from experience it's a little too small to accommodate 4 people.
