We have a double room with an en-suite bathroom in a shared house at 209 Berecroft, Harlow. The rent is £175.00 per week and is inclusive of all bills. The room is for single occupancy, not a couple. The rent includes electricity, heating, council tax, water rates, TV licence, high speed broadband and maintenance. The rent can be paid weekly or monthly in advance. The full deposit required is one calendar month’s rent of £758.33, however you can move in for only £500 and gradually build it up over the next four months.

We are also not able to accept tenants with children, pets or anyone in receipt of Universal Credit. We are happy to accept people who smoke but smoking is not permitted in the house.

Currently are three male and two female tenants but the gender makeup of these properties tends to change with time. The area is about one mile to the Town Centre and a bit further to the railway station. There are convenient local shops and it is close to bus stops. Plenty of off-street parking is available.

The landlord has been a professional landlord for 40 years and is a member of the relevant trade bodies. He employs full time maintenance staff so that any repairs required are attended to promptly at no cost to the tenants. The properties are registered with the local authority, undergo periodic inspections and meet all fire and safety regulations. Viewing can generally be arranged from 9am until 5pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
