A beautiful double room is available now in this new-build modern house. It is well-lit and simply furnished with a comfortable double bed, and has wide countryside views. You'd have use of the upstairs bath/shower room shared* with one other considerate person, shared use of the sunny kitchen-dining room, living room space and washing machine. There’s a large garden to enjoy, also off-road parking and a bike shed are available.

It's generally peaceful here, kept clean and tidy, and we respect each other’s needs for working and resting undisturbed.

The house is in Littlebury, a village 3 miles from Saffron Walden, Chesterford Research Park and railway stations; 4.5 miles from Hinxton EBI Genome Campus; 14 miles south of Cambridge (thus not convenient for students, sorry).

Best suited to a reliable, professional person – long-term rental is preferred as I go away a lot in the winter.
Rent includes all bills and fast Wi-Fi, with Council tax tbc. The price of £650pcm is based on preferably less than 24/7 occupancy/usage, though we can discuss. Notice is 21 days.
A short-term stay of e. g. 1-2 months is also possible and may be subject to a moderate weekly price increase, to be discussed.
*Private use of bathroom is possible at an extra fee tba.
