This pleasant room is most suited to part-week or part-month occupancy, as there's not much extra space for storing a lot of belongings. It's a spacious medium-sized room, simply furnished with a comfortable single bed, desk, wardrobe, shelves, etc.

I'd welcome a considerate, professional person as this is a quiet and peaceful household, with one other part-week lodger. The house is modern and kept clean and tidy. You’d have use of the shared kitchen and dining area, washing machine, garden; also the downstairs shower room shared with just one person (me). Good Wifi fibre broadband, no TV licence.

There’s off-road parking (and it’s best if you have transport), a large garden with bike-shed and countryside views all around, on the edge of a small village; 2.5 miles to Audley End Station and Saffron Walden market town. In easy reach of Hinxton EBI Genome Campus and Chesterford Research Parks.

Please Note: This lovely room is not really suited to full-time 7/7 occupancy as there's not much space for a lot of belongings, nor for working-from-home unless on occasional days. The price of £460 pcm is based on part-time occupancy/usage and would be subject to negotiation if for a short-term stay, for instance. The deposit is £300 and notice is 21 days; long term rental is preferred and flexible for the right person.
