We have available a double en-suite room in a respectful, vegetarian (no meat or fish in the house), alcohol/drug-free community house. The house is a beautiful, spacious home in Loughton, 5 min walk from the Epping forest, 7 mins walk from the Loughton tube station (central line) with excellent connections to Central London. Loughton high street is 15 min walk from the house with all its lovely organic shops, cafes, yoga studio, gym, etc.

We are an intentional community currently consisting of 6 of us, some of whom study traditional wisdom and/or also practice yoga and meditation.

We are all in paid employment and look for the same in a new applicant. A couple of us work from home, and we love keeping a clean and peaceful shared space conducive for personal practices and work/study. Amongst other subjects, we study astrology and love having a good astrological banter, watching a movie on our projector screen together, making fresh juices, or sharing a meal. We have a dedicated space for yoga/meditation/other practices, 4 bathrooms (2 communal bathrooms shared between 3 people), 2 kitchens and a co-working space for getting things done.

The house is fully equipped : big main kitchen with a central isle, double gas cooking hob, three ovens, water filter, juicer, hot water tap, a jacuzzi bath, dolby sound system and a projector, small garden and a shed. We also have an established weekly organic fruit and veggie delivery that you can take part in. We each contribute to communal items such as laundry detergent etc.

The double room is unfurnished but has built in wardrobes and rent is £740 (including bills). Some additional storage is also available.

the room is available from around 20th April. There is some flexibility around the moving in date but we ask that applicants are committed to stay at least 4 months.
