We have a lovely, comfortable double bedroom (shared bathroom) which overlooks the back garden and the mews/further tenements in our family home (me: a librarian/writer and my son: a teen). The room comes furnished, has wi-fi, black-out blinds and thermal-lined curtains, central heating and a desk and chair. Bright kitchen with washing machine, cosy living room (which is also my writing room in the day) with big telly and log-burner.
The flat is 15-20 mins walk into the old town and on the number 5 bus route. The 41 and 24 are just around the corner for city centre, Edinburgh Uni, Kings Buildings and Hospitals though I think there's a shuttle bus for NHS staff too. Marchmont has lots of local amenities (grocers, fishmongers, hair/beauty. restaurants, takeaways, swim/gym nearby and cinema is 10 mins walk). Free parking 5 mins walk.
Would suit mature student, visiting researcher or professional with PVG clearance. Ideally Mon-Fri but will consider all week for £600. Bills (heat/light/wi-fi/tv licence) included except council tax.
Must like dogs. I'm sorry but our kitchen is not suitable for vegans or those with nut allergies; I lived around SE Asia for 5 years and my cooking is very culturally diverse..
