Short-term let, flexible weekly rolling contract

I am looking for two people to come and join me (and my two cats) in my peaceful, welcoming flat. If you're looking for somewhere to call home drop me a message with the dates you need accommodation.

The room

I have two good-sized double rooms available.

The larger comes furnished with a double bed, bedside table and chest of drawers. There is a large built-in wardrobe and also additional storage space available in the loft.

The smaller has double bed, bedside table, desk, wardrobe and a built-in cupboard.

The flat

There is a shared bathroom with a powerful shower over the bath. The living room has a small dining table for when you're feeling civilised and a large TV. The kitchen is recently refitted and has a fantastic double oven and five ring hob. There is also a full size fridge freezer.

There is free on-street parking and a back garden. Overall, it very much has the feeling of a home, and not of a rental place.

The area

Colinton Mains is a great little area that offers the best of both worlds. In five minutes you can be walking in the Pentland hills or head the other direction for the shops and restaurants of Bruntsfield and Morningside. At the weekend there are lovely walks nearby along the Water of Leith and the Hermitage of Braid.

It only takes 20 minutes to get to town on the bus and there are also excellent cycle routes into town, including along the canal.

If you drive, it only takes 10 minutes to join the motorway, perfect for escaping for weekend adventures in the Highlands.

Buses run from the main road (2 minute walk) with the 27 and 4 taking you directly into town, including Princes Street, George Square and Haymarket. There is also a direct bus to the airport which takes around 35 mins.

The nearest shop is the Co-op but I tend to go to Tesco which is less than ten minutes walk. We also have Aldi and Morrison's within walking distance.

You

I am looking for a mature student or professional who is will do their bit to keep the place clean, tidy and peaceful. You will also need to be happy to live with my two cats Murray and Isla, both of whom are most excellent housemates. (However, you won't be expected to care for them)

Me

I am a self-employed medical journalist and I work from home so I am around at the flat a lot. When I'm not working I love running, yoga, going to the gym, hill walking, reading, and general socialising.

Bills are all included in the price.
