Norwood Junction double room

Hi! We are renting out a furnished double room in Norwood Junction, available from September. I am a 29 year old operations manager working for an educational startup, living with my partner (31M) and our flatmate (35M).

The house is conveniently located for reaching multiple parts of London. It is an 8 minute walk away from Norwood Junction Station, which is on the overground, and there is a 12 min fast train direct to London Bridge. We also have the Thameslink to Kings Cross/City of London/Gatwick. The house is less than a 20 minute walk from Selhurst and Thornton Heath stations too.

The 468 bus stops at the top of the road which goes in to central Croydon as well as Elephant and Castle/Camberwell/Brockwell Park.

It’s a bit of a cliche, but South Norwood is ‘up and coming’ with new independent cafes, bars and shops opening up all around. There is a Mama Dough on the walk home from the station, if you are so inclined. Aldi is right next to the station and sainsburys is about 10 mins away. The house is also a 5 minute walk from South Norwood lakes which is nice to walk around for some fresh air. Crystal Palace triangle and park are a 20 min walk up the hill.

I’ve been living here since 2018 and we have recently refurbished the bathroom. The current household have been living together for about two years (including our flatmate who is sadly moving out) and although we tend to do our own thing in the week, we do like to watch things together, have the occasional Sunday dinner together and we do get on well with one another. We all like football, cooking, and running. We are looking for someone that is sociable, easygoing and fun.
