Small double in beautiful, homely & friendly flat
Hi there,
I've a small double available immediately in my period flat in East Dulwich, living with two friendly women.
The flat is over the top two floors of a Victorian building with original features and wooden floors, recently redecorated, and with a big shared garden below. I like making a house a home, not just that pit-stop I know places can sometimes feel like!
The room is a cosy double with a slanted roof and roof window, reflected in the price.

I love East Dulwich - at the end of the road is Lordship Lane with all its great pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops, a Picturehouse Cinema and North Cross Road Market. Peckham Rye Park is a stone's throw away at the end of the road, and Peckham Rye overground/rail is a 15-20 min walk or a bus, with more bars, restaurants etc.
Bills are £120 on top and cover water, gas, heating, electricity, council tax etc. Also included:

A bit about us:
We live our own lives but we're both very friendly and looking for someone who enjoys that vibe too! I work writing music (classical music and film/TV) and from home in my studio. This does mean I play music, but happy to put on headphones at unsociable hours etc. At the moment I also teach on the piano for a couple of hours a week during daytime hours. Love music and culture stuff, so musicians and creative types welcome, though equally not necessary! I'm a bit of a homebody these days and like pottering about round here, but can also be sociable; play netball, liberal-minded, into interior design and enjoy current affairs, psychology and general chit-chat over a cuppa!
Olivia is a secondary art teacher and artist (makes beautiful painting and sculptures), before that she was a sailor and she's also a great cook! She's very fun and easy-going.
Who we're looking for:
Ideally someone friendly, trustworthy and chilled, not a million miles from us in age, who enjoys a chinwag about our days over a cup of tea. It's lovely if there’s potential to end up friends, though we're happy just doing our own thing too. We're relaxed about house things (we're both a little scatty ourselves!), but keep untidiness to our rooms so the rest of the house will stay nice, and expect flatmates to do the same.
