Double room in nice, clean flat, Borough SE1

Hello, we are looking for a new housemate for our clean, three bedroom flat in Borough, SE1. The location is perfect.

It is available now and ALL BILLS ARE INCLUDED.

THE ROOM

It's a smaller, furnished double. The room comes with a double bed, built-in closet, a medium set of drawers, small set of drawers and some shelves. It enjoys a south-facing window that warms the room in the morning.

I have included photos of the room bare with the bed positioned one way, and as it looks at the moment with the bed against the window.

THE FLAT

There is a separate living room with 4K TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Playstation 4 Pro, music speakers, couch, armchair and coffee table, plus sofa bed for guests. We have fast Virgin fibre broadband and their very latest wireless router. This is complemented by an Apple Time Capsule at the opposite end of the flat to boost the wi-fi signal throughout.

The bathroom benefits from both a shower and bath, as well as a large mirror.

The kitchen has an oven, grill, hobs, freezer, microwave, Nutribullet blender and dishwasher. The fridge is built into an island feature in the centre of the room, which is nice to make drinks on if you have guests round.

We have a fast tumble dryer, which is a massive advantage in the winter.

The flat is in a secure block on Great Dover Street, which is accessed by key fob and entry buzzers. It is a very safe location with a longstanding sense of community and friendly neighbours.

TRANSPORT

We are incredibly well-placed for transport. Borough, London Bridge and Elephant and Castle stations are an equal distance. The number 21 bus stops directly outside, going to Old Street and Hackney, or Lewisham in the opposite direction. Our nearby bus stops can take you directly to Waterloo, Westminster, Blackfriars, Holborn, Regent Street, Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, Brixton and Canada Water. You can get to most places in the city very easily.

There are two Santander Bike docking stations outside. If you're a cyclist then you can take advantage of the cycle super highways or scenic Southwark back streets and get into town very quickly.

There are three Tesco Metros and two small Sainsburys close by; Lidl is a five minute walk and there is a massive Tesco about 5 minutes bus ride down Old Kent Road, or the Elephant and Castle shopping centre in the opposite direction.

There is a park in the next street, a PureGym, Gymbox and MoreYoga nearby, plus a swimming pool at Elephant and Castle.

There is a quirky board games cafe opposite, with two nice pubs around the corner that serve good food and have quiz, movie nights, live music and suchlike. You are very close to a small independent cinema and the bars and restaurants of Bermondsey Street. Borough Market is 5 minutes by bus. There are lots of takeaways, too.

2. Working professional with regular income preferably.
3. Reference from previous landlord.
