Double room in spacious house Upper Knowle

Good sized double room (3m x 3.8m) available in friendly house. Price inclusive of all bills and includes a weekly cleaner.

The house is in Upper Knowle, just off the Wells Rd, on the Totterdown border. A few minutes walk from local shops/banks/pubs/cafes and regular buses into the centre/Templemeads.

Communal areas include a large kitchen/diner and spacious sitting room with open fire. In addition to the bathroom, there is a second loo on the ground floor. The garden is south facing, newly landscaped and decked. Gas central heating, range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, wifi, etc. There is no off-street parking, but plenty of parking is freely available on the street.

The room overlooks the garden and is furnished with a double bed (great quality mattress), bedside table, chest of drawers, hanging rail and chair, blackout curtains.

We are looking for a relaxed and considerate person, probably late twenties/thirties and employed.

We tend to be home most weekday evenings at the moment relaxing and recuperating, cooking (good food) and drinking (any old wine). We enjoy each other's company but make time for our friends too. We're both fairly creative and our combined interests include art, design, film, cooking, making and fixing stuff, travel and whatnot. Although neither of us work strict 9-5 hours, our working pattern is not far off this. I have said that there are 3 current housemates, but one of these is my adult son who is only here part of the week.
