We are offering a large, attractive single room for a 7-day let. We would be happy to discuss a Monday-Friday let (at £357 pcm) if preferred.

There is shared use of the family bathroom with our 16-year old daughter (and our son in the university holidays). My husband and I use our own shower room. There is also a downstairs toilet).

The room is light, newly decorated and has new furniture including a bedside table, wardrobe and 4-drawer chest of drawers. There is a single divan bed with storage, a desk and an armchair. We can provide your own TV if desired. The room is a good size, measuring 3.69 x 2.67m or 12'1" x 8'9".

We are a family of two parents with one teenage daughter in the Sixth Form and our son is at university (so will only be at home in the holidays).

The house is a lovely, 4-bedroom, detached townhouse at the top of Cumnor Hill. There is a good bus service into Oxford or Abingdon (X30, 4, 4B from Colegrove Down stop 3 mins away or 4A from near Arnold's Way 12 mins away). It is usually about 15 minutes to Oxford city centre by bus or bike depending on traffic. The Oxford ring road (A34) and the A420 are also easily accessible.

Beautiful country walks within 2 minutes (eg over Boars Hill).

The back garden is small but landscape designed and sheltered by a wall. The patio faces South-West and there is also a separate area for barbeques.

It is usually possible to park a car next to the house. There is space for a bike in the garage.

We have a small, friendly dog (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel).

We are a friendly family and the house is quiet after 10-10.30pm since we all either work or go to school. If you are a professional or academic, are quite independent, and feel a comfortable, quiet family home would suit you please get in touch for a potential viewing.
