Large room for male housemate, Dalston

*Still available!* Viewings first week/weekend of January. We’ve got a spare room in our lovely Victorian house, so we’re looking for a nice, friendly, considerate new flatmate, ideally early/mid 30s, to fill it. BOYS ONLY (sorry!) to keep the balance.

The room
It’s a pretty big room, on the lower ground floor. Nice white walls, original wood floors and even a fireplace. Lots of built-in storage. There’s a double bed in there already. It’s just been repainted, and the landlord is putting in secondary glazing, to make it cosier and even quieter (our street is already very quiet).

The house
We’ve got a really big kitchen and living room, with loads of storage space and two fridges. Patio doors leading out to the garden, which is great in summer. We’ve recently put lots of effort in to declutter and make the shared spaces really nice. We’ve got a cleaner who comes once a week but we keep it all pretty clean ourselves. We’ve also got two bathrooms, and it’s a bike-friendly house – you can keep yours in the hallway, or in your room. It’s not a modern house but our landlord is really good at taking care of everything.

Us
We currently are three girls and one boy, aged 27-32, working in advertising, TV and hospitality. We all have our own stuff going on but we all get on well and the house has a really nice chill vibe. Definitely not a party house – it’s peaceful and relaxing.

You
We’re looking for a male housemate who is friendly, kind, clean and considerate. You know the drill! Standard stuff.

Money stuff
It’s £736 per month, deposit is the same amount. Council tax is £31. Internet is £8. We’re currently looking for a cheaper energy deal but it’s never been too much. And we take turns to pay £20 a week for the cleaner.
