We are looking for a lodger to move into our house and share our stunning contemporary home.

Your spacious room has a beautiful outlook over Albert Park and is large enough to accommodate a newly furnished bedroom area, as well as a small sitting area, should you wish. You will also be welcome to use the lounge and fully fitted kitchen/diner. Your bathroom and shower is adjoining and for your exclusive use.

Andrew lives in the house during the week, but is away most weekends. Andrew’s husband, Steve, is an occasional visitor from his home in Birmingham. When Steve is around, he is usually accompanied by our dog, Susie, so you will need to like dogs and understand that we can’t have any other pets.

The house is imposing and superbly designed and the location is fantastic. As well as the park, there's a cycle lane directly into Manchester and a bus stop immediately outside and a new gym and swimming pool just around the corner. Andrew cycles to Swinton every day in normal times, Manchester city centre is walkable and Media City and Salford University are both feasible commutes. The house is for living in, not for working in. We would expect you to have a regular routine at a place of work or education. Regular home working isn’t an option that works for us.

We're a left leaning household and we voted to Remain. We're unlikely to get along if you're not on the same page. We're looking for a lodger who will enjoy the opportunity to share our home, respect our property and benefit from the significant amount of time that Andrew will be in Birmingham. We are willing to consider postgraduate students who can demonstrate that they have the means to afford the room. Strictly no smokers.
