Nice bright room in friendly Borough flat share

Hi!

My flatmate is sadly moving back to Canada so I’m looking for someone to replace her.

The flat is ideally located transport-wise:

5 minutes from Borough
7 minutes from Elephant and Castle
11 minutes from Southwark
12 minutes from London Bridge
15 minutes from Waterloo

It is also served by plenty of bus routes (direct 24h services to Brixton, Victoria and Shoreditch among others) and is within walking distance of the City and Westminster.

There is a small Tesco and a Coop around the corner and a big Sainsbury’s and Iceland 7 minutes away.

The area is brilliant. The flat is right by Borough High street and within short walking distance of Borough market, Southbank, Tate Modern, the Imperial War museum, Mercato Metropolitano, as well as a wide range of nice pubs, brunch places and cafes. It is a great location to enjoy runs/walks by the river. There are also tennis courts and a climbing centre nearby, as well as a Gym Box and a Pure Gym. As a resident of Southwark, you can also benefit from the ‘Free Gym and Swim’ scheme offered by the council, which allows using The Castle Centre on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for free.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge with dining table. It is a very homely bright apartment with big windows and wooden floor throughout. It also has access to a shared communal area which includes a parking space, a bike shed and a lovely dining outdoor area, perfect for summer days. The bedroom is large, with plenty of light and storage space - ideal for couples.

You would be living with me, a Spanish female professional working for the Civil Service. I am 26 years old, I love reading, hiking, playing tennis and outdoor activities in general. I am looking for someone friendly, clean and easy-going. Although I like having my own space, I have made this my home and would like to live with someone friendly that is also looking for a home rather than just a room.

I am currently working from home and use my bedroom as a workspace, so the living room is available should you want to work from there. There's also space for a desk in what would be your bedroom.

Rent is £1,025 per month (£1,150 if it's a couple). Bills come to approximately £260 per month in total (to be split equally), which includes all utilities, council tax and internet (fibre optic).
