Homesharing, Weston, Bath
Homeshare West is looking for a gentle, tactful and reliable person with a good sense of humour who is willing to support a sociable householder who needs company, some help with gardening, and with the cooking of some meals a few times a week. She would also enjoy an occasional outing.
The householder is a reasonably active, friendly, kind woman who is very conscious of the need to conserve the earth's resources. When younger she enjoyed yoga, making pottery, horse riding, tennis and swimming. She has a lovely, modern home in a quiet location.
Homesharing is a low cost accommodation arrangement because apart from sleeping in the house overnight, you give ten hours of your time each week helping with practical tasks and providing some companionship. In return you get a good-sized room in a safe environment with low outgoings.
Homesharing is a lifestyle choice, not for everyone. More suited to mature, thoughtful people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your normal working day to spend some of your evenings and weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you.
If the idea of homesharing interests you please take a look at the Homeshare West website before responding. It outlines the commitments and responsibilities.
Understandably, we have a thorough interview process and will need good references and a DBS check before we can introduce you to the householder.
