Lovely Flat in Ladbroke Grove/Kensal Rise
My double bedroom is available in a lovely 3-bed Victorian terrace house. The available room has It has wood flooring, a large radiator which keeps it warm in the winter and lots of handy storage: wardrobe, drawers and a bench that opens. Also, there’s a shared closet in the hall. The room comes with a double bed, mattress, rug, mirror and curtains.
You would be living with 2 other female professionals: Iona and Sarah, both with their own schedules but up for staying in with wine and a good film, or arranging a dinner. The house certainly needs somebody who wants to be part of a family. We understand that we sometimes want our own space but with how busy everyone is it’s wonderful to come home and see how everyone is doing.
The house consists of a good-sized garden, conservatory space which is used for storage, large open plan living and dining, kitchen (with dishwasher - bonus!) and one downstairs bathroom with bath (and shower over the bath).
The area is great - it’s peaceful but very close to all sorts of exciting places such as Kensal Rise just around the corner which is great for pubs and cafes for brunch. Notting Hill and Portobello are a 10-20 minute walk and the No. 18 bus gets you into central in 30 minutes (it’s also a night bus, perfect for getting back after a night out). Queens Park tube (Bakerloo) is around a 10 minute walk away, and Westbourne Park (Circle and Hammersmith & City), only a 15 minute walk.
The house is managed by agents as the landlord lives in Australia, however, this means quick turn arounds for any queries/issues about the house and generally, we found them to be very helpful with anything we have needed over the years such as new furniture, bathroom renovation etc.
I have lived in the house for 6 months, Iona 5 years, and Sarah moved in just a couple of months ago. Though before her the other girl lived here for 6 years. It’s really an incredible special home. I am only moving out since I’m getting married in January. It’s been a wonderful place to go home to at the end of the day and I wish I found this place sooner then I did. If you want the same, please send a message with a bit of information about yourself.
The move-in date is 14th December (or the nearest possible date, but rent will have to be paid from the15th) and we will be looking to do viewings over the next few weeks. I know this ad is out early but with all my wedding planning it would be wonderful to try and find the right fit as soon as possible.
