We’re looking for a lovely flatmate to join this fantastic flat!
The flat is on the first floor in a private gated block. All rooms face onto a garden that can only be accessed by the blocks’ residents. It is very quiet, you could have the windows open with minimal noise. We often like to hangout here in the Summer, when Clapham Common is totally full of sunbathers!
The flat was fitted with new furnishings a year ago and we have tried to made it nice and homely. Christmas saw us get our first Christmas tree and it was super cute.
There are two bathrooms, an en-suite and a main bathroom. You would be sharing the main bathroom with only one of us - this is always kept really clean and tidy.
The kitchen has a large fridge & freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Plus it is stocked with lots of good kitchenware and all kinds of tea!
The bedroom is large, with plenty of light. There is a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside cabinet included. There is also lots of storage space under the bed and there is room for a desk/more drawers in the room, if you have one to bring. (Our old housemate did this and it worked great - see photos!).

- 15/20 minute walk to Clapham Junction Station
There is both a small Sainsburys and small Tescos on our doorstep but big ASDA and big Sainsburys about 15/20 minutes away too. We are also really close to lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes etc., with Battersea park & Clapham Common less than a mile away. Transport into central is also great and you can get most places really easily/quickly.
- Parking: there is a dedicated off-road and gated space for the flat, which we occasionally use for guests & additional guest parking. You can also park on the road outside on evenings and weekends.
- Bike storage in the gated car park
- Private garden (shared with the other x15 flats)
- A cleaner who cleans the lobby/stairs once a week (not a flat cleaner)
We are two girls who used to work together and then up-graded to 'real' friends. One of us works in healthcare research and the other in advertising. During the week the flat is relaxed and after work we like to go to the gym (often to do classes together), watch Netflix or catch up over dinner. On the weekends we are generally out socialising with friends or out for brunch! What is lovely is that our friendship groups have combined and we regularly hang out together.
What we are looking for:
We like to keep the flat clean and tidy, so we're looking for someone who is similar natured. We all share responsibility to clean the flat In order to maintain a relaxing, homely environment.
Overall, we are looking for a friend rather than 'just a flatmate', so someone who wants to chill together in the evenings and become part of our wider social group too - we love exploring as well as the occasional flat party! Of course, there will be times where we have had rubbish days / been super busy and want some alone time - don't worry we can provide room-service tea!

You can move into the flat anytime from now, however the date is flexible and the room can be available in a month or two for the right person..
