Two windows, two thermostatically controlled radiators, black out thermal curtains, to ensure the sun doesn't wake you too early, making the room cool in summer and warm in winter. Laundry basket, shoe rack and laundry airer.
Single drop down bed in lounge if you need somewhere to accommodate an occassional visitor. We have 3 fridges, 2 freezers, 2 new washing machines and well equipped clean kitchen. Most white goods are integrated creating a tidy looking homely space to prepare meals and socialise in the kitchen.
Secure bicycle shed on front driveway to lock your bicycle away. There are safe bicycle paths from the house straight into the business park, should you wish to cycle to work.
All bills are included in the monthly rent of £660.
Live in landlady, so repairs and decoration are all well maintained, any problems are dealt with swiftly.
Fully licensed and PAL gold standard accredited with full certifications, fire alarms and emergency lighting, gas certificate and all electrical goods are PAT tested.
We are respectful of each others quiet time, taking responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy via a well organised rota. There is an EE/TV in the lounge and fast fibre Broadband/WiFi is available throughout the house assisted by two signal boosters for a good connection.
The garden and land ladies allotment is full of fresh fruit, veg and herbs in the season. So there will be excess crops left on the table for you to enjoy. Or if your not a cook, just relax in the garden and listen and watch the birds from the bench.
There is a bus stop right across the road for connections to Hatfield railway station for 25/29 min rail journey to London and for trips to supermarket and local towns including St Albans. Close access to A1M and M25 for London or North.
Shops and other amenities within easy walking distance. 10/15mins walk to the Business park. Bus stop across the green for larger supermarkets or for faster than walking to Business Park.
Lovely country pubs a short drive, close to Brocket Hall Estate, Hatfield House. David Lloyd Sports Club also within walking/cycle or short drive. And Gosling sports club towards Welwyn Garden City with driving range, spa and tennis courts.
Only one car occupies the driveway currently so plenty of room to park either on the road (no permit required) or in the driveway.
