Double in big house close to Seven Dials

Hi, double room available from 1 July in big house in quiet street near Seven Dials and 15 minutes walk to Brighton station. A park, great pubs, cafes, supermarkets and bus stops all within 3 minutes walk.

Room has a double bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and shelves. It is on the second floor of the house (three floors).

The house is big - the ground floor has two living rooms, a large and light kitchen/conservatory, which is where people tend to socialise, a utility room and a shower/toilet. There are two bedrooms on each of the other floors. There is a separate bathroom and toilet on the second floor. The house has a pretty but small-ish garden; it's great for bbqs and has a hammock.

We'd like to find someone sociable to join the house (but note this is not a party house). The tenants do responsible jobs (academic, HR manager, public affairs). We are all well-travelled, have lots of hobbies, and, enjoy the cultural life of Brighton. We do some stuff together but we all have our own groups of friends in Brighton too. So it's a fun and relaxed environment.

The house has great facilities, including NEF ovens, fridges, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, large freezer, widescreen tvs, dvd players, wifi (900MB BT fibre to the home) etc.

Parking permits can be obtained from the Council to park in the street outside the house.

The other useful bit of info is the size of bills, this is in addition to the £550 rent and they are shared between the four housemates. These are currently £162 a month each but this is very dependent on energy prices; so total cost per month may raise again in the autumn.
