We have a lovely double room (single occupancy) available in our 4 bedroomed house in Heavitree, only 3 minutes walk from RD&E or St Lukes campus of the University of Exeter and 2 mins' walk from Tescos on Fore St, Heavitree. A new kitchen has recently been installed!
The room is on the second floor at the front of the house. . It has a built in wardrobe, double bed, chest of drawers, lamp and bedside cabinet. The rent is £430 per month including bills, and the room is available from 3 December 2019.
There are 4 bedrooms in all - two on the top floor, and two on the first floor, accommodating 4 housemates when fully occupied.
The house has wireless broadband throughout and Freesat 32" TV in the sitting room. All charges for broadband (Sky), TV, electricity, gas, water and council tax are included in the rent. There is a garden, maintained by a gardener throughout the year, with outdoor furniture for enjoying the sunshine, and a dry shed in the garden for storage. The brand new kitchen has a washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and microwave as well as cooker and a big fridge. The house has a family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, and there is also a cloakroom with toilet and basin.
We will place your deposit with the Deposit Protection Service - one of the Government approved schemes - and will take up employment and previous renting references, but we will cover the cost of this.
We are looking for professional people or postgraduate students - individuals who get on well with others and are prepared to keep the house clean and tidy. If you smoke that's OK, but you must do it outside. Sorry - no pets.
Parking: there is permit parking available on application to the Council. There is a parking space immediately outside the house which is currently used by an existing tenant for £10 per month.
