Double room in exchange for light caring duites

We are offering a large, comfortable room in a private terraced house in a beautiful Georgian square in Islington, in exchange for 2-3 hours work each evening, 6 days a week. This involves cooking and serving supper for a retired musicologist/writer, general assistance and helping him downstairs to his room. We also ask you to have a monitor in your room overnight, for the unlikely event of an emergency. The ideal person for this position would be attentive and caring, a reasonably good cook, but, most importantly reliable. All applicants must be over 25 and have a recent DBS check. Caring responsibilities
• rent free in return for evening meal preparation and being around during preparation for bed for 6 days per week
• dinner prep takes place from 7pm for around 45 minutes and bedtime prep takes place from 10pm for around 45 minutes -1 hour
• no personal care required
• we ask you to have a monitor in your room overnight, for the unlikely event of an emergency
• unless otherwise arranged, you would be expected to be in the house from 7pm onwards
