Double Bedroom in Pet-Friendly Canning Town Flat
🚆 Located just up the road (8 minute walk) from Prince Regent DLR and the Excel, 10 minutes bus ride from Canning Town (Jubilee Line) or Plaistow (District / Hammersmith and City).
🐕 Pet friendly flat - fellow dog owner would be fantastic, although not necessary. There’s a dog currently in the flat. Cats considered, although the dog is a bit obsessed and over friendly with them...
🛌 Bedroom is a reasonably sized double with a window to the garden, currently unfurnished. Large storage area above the door, and storage space throughout the flat.
🍃 Shared areas in the flat include one bathroom, with shower over bath, living room, kitchen area (spacious with sofa), garden (paved but space to plant in pots). Entrance is shared with the upstairs flat with a separate inner door.
💰 Bills aren’t included, council tax comes to around £45/month each, Internet is currently £12.50 each, water is around £13 each (it’s unmetered so doesn’t vary). Electricity is on a top up key - at the moment we take it in turns topping up £20 as and when, it’s worked well so far, this generally comes to one top up each a month. Gas central heating - monthly direct debit at £15.50 each (possibility of needing to pay more at the end or getting a refund, but it’s easy to keep an eye on spending for this).
😊 I’m hoping to find a down to earth, no drama and employed (or studying) kind of person. You will need references to provide to the landlord, as well as one months deposit, which they’ll put in a dps.
🏡 The flat has its quirks but it does feel homely and I’d like it to stay that way (homely that is...)
📝 Contract is signed on an initial six month term with the landlord (separate to mine).
🛋 The dog won’t go into the available bedroom unless you ask him, but he is allowed to wander around/sit on the sofa etc), so please be aware of this if sending a message.
🌳 Parks nearby, post office down the road. Asda/Lidl are the closest supermarkets (5 mins on the bus). Followed by Morrisons (10 mins on the bus), slightly further afield you can find the various Beckton Retail Parks.
