Our lovely flat in Clapham South / Balham is about to have a large, quiet double room free.
The room has lots of wardrobe space, a big east facing window and if you are looking to work from home there's a desk and chair available for it, which fits in well. The flat has a really homely feel, is bright, spacious and well proportioned, in a nice area between Clapham South and Balham - about 8 minutes from either station. It's a fab place to live with loads of brunch places, bars and market stalls on a Saturday.
The living room is warm, sunny and quiet for when you're at home, and is a great place to get together. There's a separate spacious kitchen, solar panels on the roof to help with the electricity, and a great little garden at the back. Bikes can be kept in the garden or inside. There are good cycle routes into the city and west end.
You'd be sharing with three friendly young professional women. Catherine who works for one of the major drinks companies, Uxue who works for a London museum and Anna who works to promote sustainable building. We're looking for someone who fits in with the current dynamic and is looking for a home not a house (cliché but true).
All the bills are shared out equally and currently come to £61 per month (normally we'd also have a cleaner). There's no initial period on the contract, beyond a months notice, so very flexible.
