Spacious Double in Ground Floor Flat, with Garden
Hello! I’m Emily :)
My flatmate (who owns the place) is going away for 8 months from the start of October so her room is becoming available.
The room itself is light & spacious with a king size bed and recently renovated en-suite with shower. Also has plenty of storage, blackout blinds and garden access.
It’s within a 2 bed, 2 bath ground floor flat with fully equipped kitchen (inc. dishwasher), a large living space and the main bathroom is also newly done up. There’s a small front garden meaning we’re not really overlooked from the street, though it’s a quiet road anyway.
The main garden is awesome! Full of flowers, has a great bbq, decking, and lush furniture set with sofas, tables and heater ☀️ There’s also a side gate and a shed to store bikes or anything.
The local area is packed with bars, pubs, parks, restaurants, gyms, shops etc.
In close distance we’ve got Victoria Park (5min walk) and then Hackney Wick, Broadway Market, and on to North London, are all easily accessible on foot or bike along the canals.
Stratford is close on foot/bike/bus where you’ve got Westfield and the Olympic pool. We also have Roman Road right outside which has loads of places opening up (cafes, shops, restaurants) plus a market on 2-3 times a week for a bargain & a farmers’ market every Sunday.
For travel there are a load of regular buses heading everywhere. No. 8 stops 1 min away and takes you quickly into Shoreditch and then on into Central. Otherwise, stations nearby include Bow Church (10 mins - DLR), Bow Road (10 mins - H&C, District), Mile End (15 mins - Central), Hackney Wick (20mins - Overground). If you have a car, you can arrange a permit for on street parking.
I work in the city and will be part time in the office, otherwise at home. I have a desk in my room so if you will also be at home working or relaxing, I’m not normally in the living space.
On the weekends I like to go out and meet friends & also to host occasionally, though would of course be considerate to your plans and preferences.
All bills included: council tax, sky tv, internet, tv license, bills and utilities.
