Double room free in exchange for help Wandsworth

Lovely double-room available, sharing with single-mum, six-year-old boy and one other professional.

The room is really nice and in a lovely house. I am looking to find someone who is happy to babysit my very sweet six-year-old, a maximum of 3 times a week and help with housework in exchange for not paying rent.

I'm a freelance journalist and I need to go to various evening events in order to network and get work and so I need someone who can stay in and keep an ear out in case my son wakes up. You'd be babysitting two weekends out of every month too.

Housework-wise it is mainly loading the dishwasher and helping with ironing. We have a cleaner for the heavy stuff.

We are a friendly, relaxed household but it goes without saying that you must like kids and be a non-smoker.

Shevvy, our other flatmate runs his own business and is away most weekends riding his motorbike up in Cambridge.

We have Sky Plus, a massive HD 3D TV and Blu Ray DVD, Broadband and a cross-trainer (a must for any household!)

You would have a shower room that you share with Shevvy when he's around during the week.

The room would be ideal for a professional who is looking to save some money or even a student who doesn't want to do the usual student digs thing.

I originally advertised the room as free but we will need to split the bills. We are also planning to move within the next few months to a smaller but still nice place. This house is massive - if you do a search on Rightmove for SW18 2DT then the house comes up as on for £895 a week - you can see how big it is in the photos. The new place will be nice too and hopefully a bit closer to transport.

We are looking for someone who will sign a year's contract with a six-month break clause, so if you're happy with all of the above then drop me a line!
