Double Room in a Gothic Mansion

Hello.

Welcome to my advert for a double room in my beautiful character apartment, housed within a 500 year old manor house.

Located just outside Newent on th edge of the Forest of Dean, the building has lots of interesting history and features stained-glass windows in multiple rooms, 2ft thick walls, gargoyles and grand staircase.

My apartment is located within the apex on the top floor and has 3 bedrooms, a massive open-plan living room, kitchen, bathroom, office, roof terrace, secret cinema room and private courtyard for parking. It's recently been fully refurbished to an extremely high standard so everything works and it's very cosy. The living room features a fully-functioning wood burner so it's currently serving me well this winter.

In terms of entertainment, it's equipped with a large 4K TV, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer and more.

The double bedroom itself is a great size and has a beautiful view out over the gardens and surrounding countryside. You can see the spire of Newent church poking through the trees.

There is a shared garden with the other residents who are all very friendly. I probably use the garden more than anyone else.

When at home, you'll find me cooking food, watching movies or listening to vinyls. If I'm not in the house, I'm in the garage tinkering with motorcycles and mountain bikes.

I live with my rescue pup, Buster. He's an 18 month old Spaniel and is completely bonkers but loves life to the max. He's extremely friendly and will sit on you, lick you and follow you round all day.
