Room in Quiet House

Private sitting room

Lovely double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and drawers at the rear of the house, private bathroom with bath, sink and loo next to the bedroom and private sitting room with sofa, console table and bookcase. Shared use of garden, kitchen, dining room and downstairs loo. There is a small amount of storage available in the garage.
I am very happy to welcome someone for a short temporary stay or for longer. The rent includes all bills including WiFi but there is no mobile phone signal.
Bedding and towels are included.
The house overlooks the steam railway station at Parkend. Parkend is a lovely village with a small shop, pubs and a cycle centre, lots of woodland walks directly from the house.
I have a friendly cat. I work part time so I’m not always at home.
My current lodger has been short term, the room will be available from October 26th. I would like to share with a woman but might consider a couple, however the drive can only fit two cars on it, this does mean some shuffling around!
