A lovely large, clean, bright room with views over open fields, in a quiet village. The room offers peace and privacy for a working professional or mature student. Sorry, single occupancy only.

Rent includes all bills, unlimited Broadband, and a weekly room clean with fresh sheets and towels.

There are separate bath and shower rooms which are cleaned daily, and offer plenty of access and privacy for 2 people sharing the house. There's also a huge kitchen-diner, a cosy sitting room and a pretty garden.

Parking is by the house which is in a quiet lane of just 5 houses, away from the main road. On-road parking is very safe as the village is so quiet. Bicycles can be kept inside.

I'm looking for a friendly, independent, non-smoking lodger to share my clean and tidy home with. Ideally, you'll be female (though this is not a deal breaker!) and work away from home, though hybrid working can be considered. Mon-Fri let preferred but full-week let no problem for the right person.

I work from home (writing and teaching). I enjoy a natter over a drink or a meal now and then and I'm happy to do stuff together at the weekend if you're at a loose end. I have an allotment nearby which you could get involved with too, if you wanted.

The village is small with a reliable vehicle-repairs garage. Supermarkets, cinemas, theatres, gyms, swimming pools etc are only 3 miles away. Lovely walks and cycle tracks are practically on the doorstep.

The A40, M4 and M5 are within easy reach, as are:
Ross-on-Wye - 5 miles
Monmouth - 12 miles
Gloucester - 17 miles
Cheltenham - 20 miles
Hereford - 20 miles

PLEASE NOTE: Bus services are not entirely reliable. If your job requires you to work across the Forest of Dean, you will need your own transport.
