Spacious Countryside Home For Chilled Housemates

The house has been renovated over the past year and the garden is just being done so we will have three beautiful outdoor seating areas for next summer.

Amenities include:

Kitchen with fridge, oven, dishwasher, 10 seater dining table. We grow a few herbs in the garden for cooking.

Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Downstairs bathroom.

Living room with tv and sofas for chilling. We’re up for movie nights, inviting friends over, game nights, and trips out. It would be nice to create a positive friendly atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

Front yard, driveway, free on-street parking, and very large back garden.

The en-suite room has a king size bed, mattress, tv, built in shelves and hanging space, with a large bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, and a large vanity unit with drawers. The bedroom also has a huge eaves closet so masses of storage.

We also have a small box room office which is a sort of hot-desk for anyone who wants to get some work done.

All bills included within reason.

We are clean and tidy but not over the top. The house is kept nice and we prefer to use natural and safe products like method. We try to be eco friendly wherever possible, keeping waste to a minimum and recycling.

We have two dogs who make friends quickly. They protect the house by barking if anyone tries to get in so you can feel very safe here. I bring them pretty much everywhere with me and they sleep in our bedroom (downstairs). The dogs don’t go upstairs. They chill and sleep or potter around and play in the garden most of the day. They love nothing more than making you laugh and smile with their silly faces and goofiness.

If you miss having dogs in the house to welcome you home you’d love it here! They really raise the vibes when you’ve had a hard day.

Couples welcome for an additional £400 per month to accommodate additional bills and use of shared spaces.

Live-in landlords so you know any issues will be resolved quickly and effectively. My partner is our helpful handyman, I don’t know how I ever coped without him! He’s always fixing this and building that. He’s even put key locks on all the bedroom doors. I like to keep spaces looking nice with cool antiques and paintings. And I’m a great cook, we can eat together or not, I’m easy!

My interests include yoga (qualified yoga teacher), art (my work is up in a local gallery), nature and animals.

His interests include mechanics and working on vehicles, gym, and rock music.

We’ve had great experiences using Spare Room in the past and look forward to meeting more like minded, chilled housemates.
