Double Room in Brand New Home

The house

Hello there! My job has recently brought me to Manchester so I've taken the plunge and bought my first home here - I'm officially a Manchunian! 😅

The house is a new-build, four-bed detached in Astley, with easy access to Manchester, Warrington, Bolton and Wigan. It has a large living room, a large kitchen/diner, main bathroom, downstairs WC, utility room, coat cupboard, detached garage, a driveway big enough for four cars, and three gardens - the largest being the back garden, which is HUGE (and still needs some work doing). As you can imagine, I've got a gardener 😂

The room available is a large double bedroom, furnished with a double bed, memory-foam mattress and pillows, chest of drawers, 32" TV and venetian blinds. Everything is brand new. It's been tastefully decorated, and I'll also be putting a triple-wardrobe and curtains in there to finish it off. I'll update the photos once done, because the current ones don't do it any justice! You'd also have use of the main bathroom, which is spacious and has a bath and shower, as I tend to just use the en-suite.

The rest of the house is modernly designed and comes with a top of the range washing machine, tumble dryer, integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge/freezer, built-in oven, built-in microwave, gas hob and chimney hood. There are large TV's on the walls in the living room and kitchen, and I'm also planning to put an outdoor seating area in the back garden. It's gonna look great!

So a little about me... I'm brand new to the area and looking for a housemate that I can be friends with, have Netflix binges with, and pop out for the odd drink or meal here and there. I'm a nice gent, massively into bad jokes, enjoy going to the gym, hiking and gaming. So if you have any of these interests, we'll probably get along. I also really enjoy cooking, so having someone to cook with would be a bonus!
