Modern Townhouse near West Didsbury

Hi. I have a great 3 bedroom townhouse on New Barns Avenue in Chorlton. It's in a great location - only a few minutes walk to the tram / bus stop. (The Barlow Moor Road stop is right next to us and St Werburgh's Road is only a short walk away.) It's just a 15 minute walk to the fashionable bars and restaurants on Beech Road in Chorlton or Burton Road in West Didsbury. It is also near to the Princess Parkway - so great for quick access into town or onto the motorway.

One of my lovely housemates is moving in with her boyfriend - so we have a large double room available to rent. We would really like to find someone who is a friendly and sociable person - and who has a relaxed and positive personality - to join our happy home. We all get on very well - so we are looking for someone who will also become a friend.

CURRENT HOUSEMATES: I am a criminal barrister, but currently working full time as a law lecturer in Manchester. I am friendly, tidy and considerate. I love a good night in... and the occasional good night out.
However - the best thing about this house, is the lovely housemate, Rachel, that you will be living with. She is one of the nicest people that you could wish to meet and is really warm, fun and friendly. She is a pleasure to live with and is an all round great girl! She is a 28 year old fashion designer - who enjoys running 🏃🏼‍♂️ and going to the gym.


THE HOUSE: The living room has a black leather 3 + 2 seater sofa, a solid oak dining room table & chairs and a large flat screen television. The patio doors open out onto the back garden. There is also a small shed / hut at the side of the house.

In the kitchen, there is a neff oven, a Samsung washer / dryer, a brand new top of the range Bosch dishwasher, a brand new top of the range induction hob and an extra large Bosch fridge freezer. (The kitchen, downstairs hallway and toilet have recently been refurbished.)

The room available is the larger of two bedrooms on the first floor - which overlooks the back garden. It has a double bed, headboard and mattress (with storage underneath), as well as two bedside units, a HUGE wardrobe (with mirror), a bookshelf and a set of drawers.

You would share a new, modern family bathroom (with power shower) with one other. (This is also located on the first floor.)


There is also off street parking available either on the driveway at the side of the house or in the car park directly behind the house - as well as on street parking at the front.

All bills (except telephone calls) are split equally. There is high speed / unlimited broadband and sky tv (with movies and box sets). We split the cost of a cleaner who cleans the bathrooms and all of the communal areas once a fortnight.
