Great location in East Didsbury. Lovely open space with contemporary decoration. The road is a cul de sac, so it is a quiet and peaceful location, but only a 10 minute stroll to lively Didsbury Village. On the doorstep to the house are the beautiful Fletcher Moss gardens, Stenner Woods and the River Mersey, perfect if you want to feel like you're in the countryside in the middle of a city.
The area is an excellent base to get anywhere in Manchester. It is a 5 minute walk to Europe's busiest bus route with access to Manchester, Stockport, Chorlton, Levenshulme etc. The 171 bus stops outside the door of the house hourly. It is a 10 minute walk to East Didsbury train and tram stops. The tram provides easy connections to anywhere in Manchester and East Didsbury train station is on the route to Manchester Airport, Blackpool and Liverpool. There is very easy access to M56 and M60 motorways. Off road parking available.
The room has a king size bed, wardrobe, drawers bedside table, full length mirror and TV. The house has a large open kitchen with range cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and multiple kitchen gadgets. Large 6 seater table in the dining room with comfortable corner couch. The living room is modern with stylish comfortable couches and large TV with surround sound. There is a room for drying clothes, some storage space in the loft and garden shed available.
There is a lot to do in the area, Didsbury Village is one of the most sought after areas to live in the North West. Excellent pubs like Ye Olde Cock Inn, The Oak or the Fletcher Moss are strolling distance, as well as great restaurants like Baity, Nueve and Sangam. The Parrswood complex is close by with a cinema, bowling and restaurants like Nandos and Wagamama. A Nuffield Gym is within the Parrswood complex and tenants will eligible for a 20% discount. Old Bedians sports centre is a 2 minute walk and has a rugby, football and Gaelic football team if you are looking to join a local sports team. There are also several golf courses in close proximity.
I am a 39 year old teacher who works at a local school. I am involved at the local rugby club and enjoy socialising, football, cricket, going to gigs & sporting events and having a few beers. I also have an allotment and I am keen on growing my own food. I tend to be very busy so I am out quite a lot so you'll have the house to yourself regularly, but equally looking for somebody who shares similar interests and is comfortable watching Netflix in the evening or going to the pub to watch the match. Ideally looking for a single tenant to move in but no problem with a couple, however this would cause an increase in the rent to accommodate the increase in bills, this would be an extra £100 per month.
I also have a very friendly cat who will be your best friend in no time!
