- Insta emcevans to reach out
- Amazing location
- Looking for a chilled housemate who isn’t a sesh-head but isn’t a beeraphobe
- No couples or undergrads
- Must be aged 24-27
- Must like animals (we have a cat and baby tortoise)
- Parking available
THE SPACE
The room is a double bed with 2 windows that get floods of light. A large double door wardrobe is in the room and a cubby hole storage cupboard. The room also has shelves for books, plants etc.
You would have access to a shared bathroom, used by 1 other tenant (the other 2 tenants share an ensuite).
We have a small spare room used as an office.
The house has an open plan lounge and kitchen space. The tenant would have their own cupboard and fridge shelf, and access to the shared pantry. Out back, there’s a small but cute patio garden with a BBQ/fire pit for both summer and winter months. There is also a car parking spot used by 2x of the other tenants (and you too if you have a car). We work on a first come first serve basis with the space. There is also plenty of street parking nearby.
THE TENANTS + OUR IDEAL TENANT
Tenants living in the house currently are all a group of friends and working professionals, aged 25/26 - 1 heterosexual couple and 1 female. We have a cat and a baby tortoise (they’re super cute and friendly!) so the tenant must like animals. We all love to cook (please consider that we are all meat eaters) watch movies and series, and go to the pub at the weekends. We’re not massive on going out into town (but will ofc do it sporadically). Our ideal Saturday would be to go on a group hike, family cook up and end up in the Fletcher Moss till close or at home playing games.
Our ideal tenant would share similar interests and be a female working professional aged between 24-27. They must like animals and would ideally be sociable and want to enjoy a beer or two after work on a Friday. We would prefer a tenant who doesn’t go out to town/seshing and bringing people over all the time - of course time to time is fine, but please not every weekend.
THE AREA
Immediate and outer neighbours are all families, so this is a nice and quiet part of Didsbury. You would have access to loads of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. You’d also be a 2 minute walk to the entrance of Didsbury Park and 10 minutes walk from Fletcher Moss.
