Double room in a cosy, comfortable home

Hello!! I'm friendly, welcoming and looking forward to finding someone to rent my spare room. I have 2 horses and go to the stables in the evening. This means my potential lodger will have the house to themselves most evenings, up until about 8pm. This helps with regards to making meals etc...it staggers it a bit. However, the kitchen is big enough for the two of us when required!

The house is situated just behind the historic Failsworth Pole area. There is a pedestrianised area between the street and the main road, which limits the amount of traffic passing by. The council keep the pedestrian part really lovely with plenty of flowers.

There are pubs, restaurants, a library, supermarkets and a shopping precinct within walking distance. There are a few nice walks as well...Failsworth Canal is very pretty. Daisy Nook Country Park is also close by. It is beautiful for walks and there's a little cafe too.

The location makes it ideal for transport links into Manchester city centre / Oldham by tram or bus. Buses run every 10 min and the stop is a 30 second walk away. Once you're on the bus it takes about 15-20 minutes to Piccadilly Gardens. There is also a night bus for nights out :-) Actually, a taxi into Manchester is only £8-10 so split between a few friends is great value! The taxi rank is also across the main road, so taxi's usually come pretty fast when you order them. If you drive, Junction 22 of the M60 is only a mile away. There is street parking, this is well lit and you will be able to see your car from the house. There are garages behind and there may be an opportunity to rent one of those. The room itself is warm and comfortable and has plenty of wardrobe space. There is a bedside table, a bed, a double wardrobe (it's very tall too so extra space to store on the high shelf). There is a small TV, that has Freeview in the bedroom. The house has gas central heating, microwave, cooker, washer, tumble dryer, shower room and Wifi. The bills include council tax, water, gas & electricity and unlimited broadband. I am quite a tidy person, so would be looking for someone who is reasonably tidy too. Other than that, I tend to get get along with most people! Hope to hear from you soon
