Housemate wanted - double room in Longsight

Hi,

We're looking for a new lodger to join us in a spacious semi detached house in Longsight. The room will be available from February

The 3 of us you will be living with - Alan is an ecologist who loves the outdoors. Howard builds sets for theatre and TV and I'm a manufacturing engineer. We're all pretty easy going and relatively tidy. Howard and myself do like playing music in our free time - Howard has a modular synth upstairs and I've got a drum kit, so there is a bit of noise sometimes, but the flip side of that is we're pretty tolerant of others making some noise too. I think the key thing with noise is flexibility - being willing to voice your own needs and accomodate others. All that said, it's generally a pretty peaceful house.

Howard and myself (and probably Alan when he moves in) often eat together, listen to music, watch films, play games and chill in the evenings, so we're looking for someone to join the team. We also usually have a project on, building or brewing something. It would be great to find a creative type who wants to get involved. Bonus points if you like gardening.

The house has one living room with home cinema and bar, one music room, two bathrooms, a kitchen and four bedrooms - all the rooms are spacious and furnished. There is also a sunny courtyard and garden (south facing and fairly private), with bench, bbq and fire pit. We have plans to upgrade the garden facilities a little this summer with built in bbq and firewood storage.
