Double room, parking, popular Piccadilly Village

Central Manchester, weekdays only as Mon-Fri let (possibly extend from late Sun eve to Fri), occasional weekends available by arrangement.

Spacious double balcony room for rent on a lodger basis with double bed, sofa, TV, wardrobe, drawers, bookcase, chair, desk and storage all situated in the un-crowded room. All bills included (so long as services are used judiciously). Ideally suited to a professional working weekdays in Manchester and wanting somewhere to stay over. Occasional weekends available at no extra cost, so long as this is arranged in advance and does not become regular.

Piccadilly Village has become a sought after area of Manchester City Centre to live. Property is rarely available to rent or buy. Built in 1989 and originally designed to be the Athlete's Village if Manchester had won its Olympic Bid, it is situated peacefully at the side of the Ashton Canal in open, landscaped and spacious grounds. Piccadilly Station is only 5 minutes walk and Market Street and the heart of Manchester only 10 minutes walk, yet the area is incredibly calm and like living in a quiet village. Free permit parking on a private road owned by the residents of Piccadilly Village adjacent to the development is available.

Council Tax, water, broadband (unlimited subject to fair usage), telephone (anytime free calls to landlines) and other bills are all included in the rent, references and proof of income and identity will also be requested. The house (and the room) is cleaned professionally once per month and that is also included in the rent.

My partner stays with me pretty much all the time; we are generally easy going and relaxed. We do, however, work long hours and this room would best suit someone independent rather than someone who is looking to use their housemates to access a social life as the room is pretty self-sufficient. We are really easy to get on with, our jobs just mean we don't have much time for socialising during the week, often don't get in until late and prefer to chill out :-)

Although the room is a Mon-Fri let, all belongings can be left over weekends.
