I have a spare room to let from September 2016 in my apartment in The Lock Building (M1 5BD) right next to Oxford Road Station, ideal for the city centre, universities and hospitals. The room is quiet and is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers (furniture in picture, with the addition of a large desk). It looks onto the balcony which overlooks the Rochdale Canal.

There's also a spacious living/dining area which is open plan to the kitchen (see pics). There is a bathroom which is communal to the flat but would be used mainly by you as the other bedroom has an ensuite. The building has a 24 hour concierge and is 2 mins walk from Sainsbury's and close to numerous bus routes, and a 10 min walk from Manchester Piccadilly.

Bills are not included, and council tax is band D. As I am a student, there is a 25% discount on this.

I'm a medical student at the University of Manchester, and am looking for a non-smoking friendly, clean, tidy and sociable flatmate. I'm quite sporty and also like chilling out with friends as well as going out for drinks/meals.
