Double bedroom single occupancy for rent, in a detached house on a nice quiet estate, situated in Outwood, a little village on the outskirts of Radcliffe. 3 minute walk to countryside ideal for walking and cycling (National Cycle Route 6 runs through the area). 2 miles to either Radcliffe or Whitefield Metro Stations, 3 miles to Kearsley Rail Station. Easy access to Bury, Bolton, Prestwich, ten minute drive to motorway (M60 J17) and a 25 minute drive to Manchester city centre. Please look at the area on Google Maps Street View, it is very nice :)
The house consists of living room with Sky TV, Wi-Fi, dining room, office/bedroom (private), kitchen, utility room (inc. washing machine, dishwasher sink and overhead cloths rack), master bedroom with on suite (private), second bedroom (private to you) and family bathroom (90% sole use by you). Large front and rear lawned gardens. Double drive with space available.
All areas of the house are shared access apart from those marked as private.
I'm an easy going active single guy with 3 grownup kids, 2 daughters at university who stay over occasional weekend, and holidays. Thus, would prefer to share with a female, suitable references are a must.
I’m looking for somebody who works, is easy going, mature, and clean. Must be none smoker and no drugs.
The room has a double bed, draws, wardrobe and TV. The family bathroom is next door and would only be shared with the girls when they are staying over.
Refundable Deposit required equals to 1 months’ rent (this may be kept if you decide to terminate early or there are any damages) as well as the first month rent up front with a 4 weeks’ notice period from both parties.
All bills are included.
Extras: £35 a month for council tax, your own food (but I'm happy to come to some sort of shared arrangement), any chargeable phone calls from landline, would prefer you to use your own mobile.
There seems to be a little confusion as regards pets, so to clarify.
I have not pets at the present time, I like both cats and dog and have had both over the years. So long as they are looked after well by the owner and are house trained, I would welcome a lodger who had either, my two girls would love them to bits too when they visit :)
