Hi! I am a 29 year-old, student at UoM, who is looking for a new housemate from now. I am friendly, outgoing and have several previous tenants who are now good friends that can vouch for me if you don't believe me! I'm really laid back and happy to accommodate wierdos - all I ask is that you are quiet(ish), tidy and wash up after yourself and are happy to water the plants when I'm away...

I own the house with a friend but currently live here alone and am looking to rent out my downstairs room - ideally to a Masters/ PhD student who is looking for somewhere quiet but sociable to live. I will consider professionals but there would be an extra charge for council tax (total would be £425pcm). There is also an upstairs single room which I may be looking to fill or may keep as a spare room for guests. It's currently used as a spare room/ study and can be used by whoever... (see picture)

The room is a ground floor, medium-size double in a quiet house in Rusholme, about 2 minutes walk from Platt Fields Park and 10-15 minutes walk from UoM campus. Right next to the 111 bus stop and 5 minutes from Curry Mile.

The house is fully furnished with a comfy living room, fully equipped kitchen (gas hobs), big bathroom and a tiny yard around the back where you can keep a bike or two.

The rent is £395/month with all bills included (council tax, electric & gas, water, WiFi etc.).

I’m not too bothered about tenure (if you want only a few months or a long-term room it’s fine) but there will still be a rental contract in place for peace of mind.
