The Apartment
The apartment is a two bedroom two bathroom flat which comes with a balcony.. The current flat mate is moving in with his girlfriend and is relatively flexible on his move out date so the room up for grabs is available between now and 1st March.
Location
The tram stop is a 30 second walk from the apartment if you need to get into Manchester. The trams run every 5-14 minutes and takes 15-20 minutes to reach Piccadilly Gardens or Deansgate/Castlefield. If the trams aren't running (which is highly possible ha) then there's also a bus stop again a 30 second walk away. Media City is less than a 10 minute walk.
Bills
Rent is £425, council tax £77, Internet is £9.50, electricity £26 and water £16 per tenant per month.
Shopping
There's Booths Tesco's Express close by. We did also used to have a Morrisons store close by, which unfortunately closed down. So I've recently discovered Asda's online shopping which only costs £1 for delivery, depending on which delivery slot you choose. So I think even if they opened another supermarket in place of Morrisons I don't actually think I'd go back.
As for me
I'm 32, I was born in Manchester but lived in Ireland for 16 years and moved back for work. I work close to Media City as a Technical Consultant in SAP. The job requires some travel, so there maybe a couple of days here and there where you'll have the place to yourself.
Interests
Football and the the occasional night out
Music Production - I studied a part time course on Saturdays with the Manchester Midi School. I'm fairly hopeless so record deal isn't coming anytime soon haha.
I play football on Monday nights with a few of the guys around The Quays.
I've been in the flat on The Quays now for the last 5 years and I absolutely love living here! Which is why I'm looking to renew the lease. When I first moved back to Manchester I spent 2.5 months looking for a place to stay and honesty I looked everywhere and when I first came to view this flat it was by far the best I came across. It had everything I looked for in a flat, spacious, reasonably priced, good location, balcony, two bathrooms, views (Media City and Old Trafford!). So if you're interested in arranging a viewing let me know!
Also if you can please try and fill out a profile so that I have something to go off that would be great.
Thanks,
Chris
