Large double w/ensuite in great city centre apt

Hello, I’m Joe. I’ve got a large room to rent in my smart, modern and spacious city centre apartment.

The location is amazing – you can walk to anywhere in the city centre: 5 min walk Selfridges / The Arndale, 10 min walk to the Northern Quarter or Spinningfields. The transport connections are great too with bus routes and Victoria train station for tram and train just around the corner. It’s an easy 20 min walk to Picadilly Train station.

The apartment is on the 5th floor, which is the top floor in our part of the building, so there’s no noise from above. There’s also no noise in the rooms from the other apartments on the same floor, so it’s nice and quiet. It’s on a quiet road, though just moments from the action the city centre has to offer. In fact this area is one of the quietest centrally located and nicely developed areas in town.

The apartment is on the corner curve of the building, so there’s more space than you’d expect. It’s really airy, with great sized rooms throughout. There is a big hallway as you enter the flat, separating the areas within, offering privacy between the rooms.

The room is a big en-suite double (it’s the main bedroom) with floor to ceiling windows, which really catch the sun. There’s a brand new really comfy bed with a hybrid sprung mattress with sumptuous 3-inch memory foam (new since the pics). There's a brand new carpet and bathroom floor covering (new since the pics). There’s even an original Tom Dixon ceiling light to add a bit of glamour (and yes, also updated since the pics) And like the rest of the flat, the room has been recently redecorated.

The ensuite to the bedroom is big, with a full size bath and excellent shower, floor to ceiling windows and full tiling.

There’s hyperoptic broadband (100mbs, v quick), a washer/dryer, dishwasher etc. There’s also a large balcony.

You’d be sharing with a live-in landlord – me. I’m a professional gay male (46) working at Media City. I’ve been in a relationship for 25 years and normally spend 3-4 days a week in London with my better half (Tony), so you’d generally have the place to yourself pretty much every weekend. Bonus! However, during this period of lockdown I'm in London pretty much full time.

I’m looking for a tidy, respectful, professional housemate who appreciates somewhere really nice to live, who’ll take care of the place when I’m not there and who’ll love living here as much as I do.

I’m very sociable and although my days of all-night partying are behind me now, I am known to venture out during the week for a pint and some food, or have some mates over for dinner.

Rent is £700 per month inclusive of ALL bills. It also includes a regular cleaner. One month’s deposit and one month’s notice on either side.

Parking can be arranged for an extra charge (around £80 per month) in the secure underground car park - but to be honest, a car isn't needed in the city centre with everything so close.
