Housemate wanted

We are Nikki and Sophie, 35 and 37. We live in Stretford, not far from Chorlton. Our house overlooks Longford Park and has a beautiful garden. We are looking for a warm and considerate housemate to live with us, from September onwards. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a room to rent! We want to create a house share where we decide together how we want to live.

Here are some of the projects and passions that we are currently involved in, some regularly and some occasionally: Poetry and Scriptwriting, Black Lives Matter and direct action, Solidarity with Palestine, Climbing, Wild Swimming, Book Clubs, Cooking, Making art… And trying to keep our many house and garden plants alive! 😊

We want a home with shared values and friendship, where we look out for each-others wellbeing and are mindful of each-others space. We are looking for a housemate who contributes regularly to shared chores and is respectful of communal spaces. We recognise that living with people can have its challenges and we like to work these through together when they do occur! Having said all that we don’t take ourselves too seriously and the atmosphere at home is fun and silly.
