The house is located on a quiet and smart residential road in Walkden, just a 10 minute walk to Walkden train station, which offers regular services to Salford Crescent, for the university campuses (11 minute journey) and Manchester Oxford Road, for the centre of town (19 minute journey). By car it's a 15 minute drive to Salford and a further 5 minutes into Manchester centre itself.

At the top of the road there is a large Tesco and whole range of retail outlets. Walkden Cricket Club in half a mile away and behind this is Blackleach Country Park- a beautiful public nature reserve with a fishing lake, visitor centre, walking routes and picnic facilities. Worsley leisure complex is 6-7 minutes away on foot and offers swimming pool, gym, indoor courts and a host of other facilities.
