Lovely double room in Worsley, Manchester

The house is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Worsley, within a few minutes walking distance of The Green, canal, Worsley woods, pubs, restaurants and newsagent. Transport links are excellent, with buses running into Manchester and the M60, M602 and M61 all within a few minutes drive. The Trafford Centre is 10 minutes away. It is close to the popular area of Monton, with its shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The room has a double storage bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and two side tables and looks out over the garden. There is wifi available, as well as washing machine and full use of the kitchen facilities. There are two living rooms, one with patio doors leading onto the enclosed garden (which gets the sun during the day in summer) and a large kitchen/diner with a breakfast bar and separate table plus pantry. There is a downstairs toilet as well, which comes in handy.

I am a teacher and work Monday-Friday away from home during term time so you would mainly just be sharing with my lovely lodger Louise (see below). I have a friendly lurcher called Fergal who will also be staying away with me Mon-Fri so will only come back with me at weekends and school holidays. I like to relax at the weekends, taking Fergal out for a walk and maybe a nice glass of wine in the evenings, although I am not a big party animal. My current lodger who you would be sharing with, works in cardiology at Wythenshawe Hospital. She is very sociable and is often out and about with friends or visiting her boyfriend near Birmingham. I am happy to accept couples for an additional amount (by negotiation). Short term lets will be considered for a slightly increased rent pcm.
