10 rooms to let in 2 shared houses based in Blackwood. The house in on Fairview hill and Sir Ivors Road, both are only a 10 minute walk to Blackwood high street. The bus stop is located only 30 yards away from the property with great access to Blackwood, Cardiff and Newport.

The one property is a 6 bedroom house with all tenants working the other is 4 bedroom house with tenant workers. These are not "Party" houses and if you are looking for something lively then it wont be for you, everyone in the house works different shifts so if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep, watch a bit of TV and have the odd cup of tea with people this will be perfect. Sometimes the house is full other times you can go a week without seeing anyone due to work commitments.
The price of rent is between £280 (Box Room) - £350 but this price includes all bills (Internet access is £10 more per month payable to another tenant). This is a rolling contract each month so you can have it short term or long term its up to you. We have people that have been there 5 years now and others that stay for 3 months while working in South Wales. All rooms are Lockable but you can be sure all property will be safe. Some of the tenants in the house work for the landlord so they oversee the running of property daily.

Parking to both the front and rear of the property, Chinese take away only 30 yards away that is quite decent. Petrol station is 2 minute walk if you want to get late night snacks and also has a cash machine that dont charge to have cash out. Little shop at the top of the hill if you want beers etc. Tesco express is about 10 minute walk if you want to buy stuff for a decent meal. We have a leisure centre at top of the hill with a gym and pool its council run so pretty cheap and fairly decent. A few pubs close by that serve good beer and do a decent Sunday Roast.

At the request of the tenants and from past problems this property is only available for people that are working! We have had all the excuses in the past about being in-between jobs or waiting to start etc, but without a job please dont apply. No H/B will be accepted no matter what the situation. Dont apply if you are "Going to be tucked up by work" every pay day or "My bank have froze my account" we really have had every excuse under the sun and we wont tolerate it because its not fair on other decent tenants. Sorry to sound so harsh but in all this time doing living here we have seen it over and over again, some people are time wasters that make the rest of us look bad. The Landlord is a decent guy that dont breath down our necks all the time and only comes up if we have a issues so its best we get a decent person from the start. So if you think you might be interested give the Landlord a call or text and ask what rooms are available at the moment and he will meet you at the property and show you around. Remember this is NOT a party house its a quiet working house..

Nearest Town - 10 Minute walk. Shops like Asda, Clinton Cards, etc. Very popular high street. Couple of bars that stay open till 2am.

Rolling contract 1 month at a time. Please only apply if you are clean and tidy. You would think this is a obvious requirement when sharing a house but in the past we have had some right clowns! You clean your own mess and dont be a jackass :) Great bunch of people in property at the moment that keep the property clean for everyone.

In all fairness its a decent house, Im writing this on behalf of the Landlord and Iv never hear anyone complain about the property. The oven broke and the Landlord had a new one fitted the next morning and bought us all a dominoes!! Cant get fairer than that and that is why we all plan on staying short term but end up staying here alot longer!

You MUST be working no excuses of "Im in-between jobs" or "moving to area but will be looking for work". This is at the request of all current tenants due to noise issues etc by those that dont work so now its a requirement to be employed.

At the request of the Landlord please dont ask for pictures of rooms if you want to see them arrange a viewing. He has over 10 rooms that change frequently when workers move away and change jobs etc. The rooms sizes vary for £280 for a single room then 330 or 350 for doubles. This includes all bills. Its simple. These all come with a minimum 1 month contract then its "pay as you go" with rent due on the 1st of each month. These rooms are designed for people that just want to work, live in their room and do your own thing. These houses are NOT designed for people that want to cuddle up with house mates on sofa and watch a film, they are not made to be socail they were made to give everyone a secure personal space to live.
