About the area:

I have a double room available for rent in my home in the market town of Romsey. Romsey is a peaceful and vibrant market town with a good number of pubs and coffe shops and has a local farmers market twice a week. The area is quiet and my neighbours are all friendly. The house is located in the Abbotswood area on the northern boundary of Romsey in walking distance to Hilliers Arboretum and Ampfield Woods. There are lots of good cycle routes through local woodlands and countryside directly from the house and walks along the River Test. Within walking distance there is a bouldering wall, cross fit gym, leisure centre, Hilliers Gardens, cafes, pubs and shops. There is also a nature reserve within five minutes walk of the house and a convenient 2.5 km circular path around the development, perfect for running, There are good road links to the M3, M27, Winchester, Salisbury, Southampton and Portsmouth.

About the room:

I have a furnished double room for rent which is light and spacious for a single person. The room currently has a storage cupboard with wardrobe, a double wardrobe, a chest of draws and a double bed with two bedside tables.

About the house:

There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room and garden and a car-port with off road parking.

About me:

I’m a professional consultant ecologist and I have a working dog who lives with me and is very friendly and well trained. I like to socialise but equally like my own space and I’m quite easy going. I like to cycle to the pub with friends and paddle board regularly when the weather allows. I enjoy hiking, camping, paddle-boarding and visiting friends and family. I’m looking for a tidy, respectful, friendly professional who’d like a Monday to Friday room and will also consider 7 days a week.
