We have a double room to rent which is a 5 minute walk to the town centre, and a 10 minute walk to the train station. The rent is £450 per month including bills and unlimited Wifi.

The house is a Victorian semi, with a garden and use of washing machine, tumble dryer, and loft space if needed.

The double room is a good size and comes furnished with a bed, bedside cabinet, desk and wardrobe . There is also a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster in the room. The room itself is at the back of the house overlooking the garden, with double glazing and two radiators. The bathroom is next to the bedroom with a shower, bath, sink and toilet, which is shared with 2 others. There are also two other toilets and sinks in the property . We have a combi boiler, so there is hot water on demand.

You are welcome to share the kitchen and living room.

I live in the property with 2 other lodgers, cats and a gentle giant of a dog, so anyone who comes to live with us will have to like animals! We are happy for you to bring a small housetrained animal with you provided it gets on ok with our pets. We are looking for someone who is friendly, tidy, trustworthy and sociable but not a party animal. We often work unsocial hours, so need someone who can appreciate and respect that. Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants a home rather than a just a room.
